I don't know about dark matter, but I think dark energy could very well be the gravitational influence caused by incrementally growing cluster sizes of massive objects as we go farther into the eternal space. That, to my belief is the reason why we can only detect it indirectly.

As a curious person explores the history of the world, they increasingly recognize that events typically exhibit clear starting and ending points. Whenever the world has confronted uncertain futures due to ideological clashes, we have been forced to undergo periods of destructive wars that have hindered the advancement of our civilization.
